THE DIFFERENCE

We are landscapers just like you.

Designing quality, durable, functional landscaping products to suit a variety of applications designed for a job well done.

Where would I use Flex Edge ?

If you’re looking to create perfect curves, we recommended using Flex Edge Aluminium Garden Edging. You can still create straight lines, all you need to do is place fixing spikes between 600mm – 700mm intervals.

What's the difference between Flex Edge and Heavy Duty ?

Hedge Heavy Duty Aluminium Garden Edging can be used for a wide variety of landscaping applications.

*If your project requires perfect straight lines, Heavy Duty is by far the best product to do this.

  • Borders – If you want to create clean, crisp borders between your lawn, garden beds, and paths 80mm and 100mm profiles are ideal.
  • Paths – 100mm profile is ideal for this purpose, creating sturdy, durable borders to retain stones, gravel, mulch, bitumen and compacted decorative granite.
  • Rooftops – Aluminium is the ideal edging restraint for rooftop gardens. It is lightweight, will not rust like steel and is easily fixed to substrates surfaces. Heavy Duty is the ideal choice.

Anywhere you need a durable, attractive, permanent edging solution, we have a product that will suit all your needs, and your budget.

Why do other aluminium garden edging products only come in mill finish ?

It’s our attention to detail!

Mill finish is the cheapest way to produce aluminium extrusions. When you think about it, all garden beds are subjected to watering and moisture, it made no sense for us to provide the same cheaper mill finish alternatives that corrode and dull even before their installed.

We apply superior finishes, that are durable and we even invented a smarter way to join edging lengths together and create perfect right angles without using angle grinders, sledgehammers and a bunch of screws drilled through the face of the edge.

That’s the Hedge difference

What tools do I need for installation ?

Hedge  Aluminium Garden Edging is easily installed. To achieve professional results the below tools are our go-to guide.

  • Hammer – Claw hammer to install steel fixing spikes.
  • Drop saw – Electric wood drop saw to cut aluminium edging.
  • Safety First – Always wear safety equipment to avoid injury or harm. Safety goggles, gloves and ear muffs must be worn at all times when using electrical equipment.
